About Annick

Born and educated in France, where she studied at theprestigious ESCP Business School which took her to Oxford University,
Annick’s entire career has been UK-based. The holder of a British
passport (acquired well before the horrible B word appeared on the
scene) she now feels more British than French (in spite of the still
heavy accent) and was proud to be part of the London 2012 Olympics
Opening Ceremonies.

The first twenty years of her career were spent in corporate marketing, at Avon Cosmetics, L’Oréal, Chesebrough-Ponds,
Seagram Wines & Spirits where she became VP Marketing &
Strategic Planning for Global Brands, and Dell Computers where she was European Marketing Director. Her last corporate role was in a dotcom in recruitment.

She co-founded The Rooster in 2001, to help SMEs with their marketing, communications, digital stuff, and Social Media. With a
strong expertise in B2B, she now acts in an advisory capacity to the
Board of SMEs and has assisted companies in a cross section of sectors in IT, Telecoms, Legal, Media and Finance. She was proud to handle the marketing launch of French Radio London, the first radio station aimed at the French and Francophile community in the UK, which landed her a small part on Andrew Marr’s This Is Britain BBC programme a few years ago. She is proud to have been a Trustee of two charities, a local Hospice and an organisation helping disabled people get work, and is now a Trustee of Help 4 The Homeless, a charity that supports people who sleep rough on the streets of London.

She is a keen tennis player and skier, loves the arts, and
is dedicated to the wellbeing of her two canine friends, Sammy and
Papillote.
